I would have hoped there was a more elegant name for this particular base but I couldn't seem to find one. By the way, I also roat my paper when I spin it on a tack. I like to see it roating around, it is very peaceful. Be careful with the tacks when you do this. You don't want to sit on one and roat by mistake... I am done now with that line of thought... and I apologize for it. Nice animation. Not totally useless. It made me think of origami after all.
