nerrazzi Posted September 28, 2003 Posted September 28, 2003 Here are a couple of space images I'm working on for another project I'm fiddling around with. Critques welcome.... Quote
zacktaich Posted September 28, 2003 Posted September 28, 2003 (edited) Nice. They look practically photorealistic. Are you using Yves Poissant's "Planet Glow" plug-in? How did you make the sunrays? Edited September 28, 2003 by zacktaich Quote
Jerry Seider Posted September 28, 2003 Posted September 28, 2003 Beautiflly done. The atmosphere on the planet is perfect. Jerry Seider Quote
lazarter Posted September 28, 2003 Posted September 28, 2003 Wow! Looks very real. Excellent job, I really thought that it was an actual photo. Quote
nerrazzi Posted September 29, 2003 Author Posted September 29, 2003 Zacktaich, no I didn't use the Glow plugin just the standard glow on the properties panel. In these images, I wanted some feedback on the atmosphere and I wasn't sure if there needed to be a lens flare or if folks were sick of looking at them. thanks for the comments... Quote
samsprograms Posted September 30, 2003 Posted September 30, 2003 Wow! Amazing! I have just started using Animation Master, can you please help me with how to make a planet like that? Quote
nerrazzi Posted October 1, 2003 Author Posted October 1, 2003 'preciate that samsprograms! I do "TONS" of cheating to create a lot of my still shots as do many production houses and filmmakers. My whole attitude is, "whatever works"... I'll write a quick tutorial detailing what I did. Quote
nerrazzi Posted October 1, 2003 Author Posted October 1, 2003 Well, here's a quick tutorial of how I made the scene you see above... hope this helps. Space_Scene_Tutorial_101.doc Quote
