Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted April 7, 2021 Hash Fellow Posted April 7, 2021 You probably didn't know that Kent Rogers did celebrity imitations and other voices for many cartoons in the late 30s/early 40s, probably because voice artists rarely got screen credit back then and when they did, their name got spelled "Mel Blanc." Here he is in a scene contrived to show off his imitation skills; he would be all of 18 here. He looks like he mighta been a contenda if he had made it to the golden age of "impressionsts", which I peg to when Ed Sullivan had a TV show. However, that was not to be. Showbiz blogger Mark Evanier has more about him. Quote
