I assume you mean to say that you don't necessarily know which images are being used and you want to remove all those that aren't being used anyway? After having experimented extensively with a scene, I often end up with a loooong list of images of wich maybe only 10% are actually used in the scene. They take time to load, can be confusing in the work with the scene and make it difficult to archive/move the scene later on (without archiving them all). I use Sony Movie Studio Platinum for final assembling/editing, and in this program there is a menu command named "clean media" that does exactly what I wish for in one click. As it asks you to find the ones you really need, you can move those back into the original folder and all the ones it doesn't need will be be left behind. Now that I think about it some more, I don't think this will work. A:M will still ask for the images that are in the images folder but not used elsewhere.
