AM to 3D-Coat applink demo

Hidyho,

back from my holidays, and let the fun start right away:

Made a modell and used the App link trough a Chor, and it works nice. Then I go back to AM

using the "return Model" command.

So far all works nice, exept that the returned model has changes in the geometry: 5Point patches get

broken apart and hooks end up triangulated.

Aside from that, it is working nice so far.

Regards

Heiner

Hm... I just tried this again, but with the latest hxt it does not send my model back to A:M. It imports it fine and i can draw perfectly on the object in 3dcoat but it is not given back at all.

Neighter in 3d Coat 4.5 nor in 4.0. Anyone has the same problems?

See you

The default one using OBJ and creating textures and displacementmaps, etc. works, but this one was never working fully (so pretty close) and is not compatible with the current version of A:M (would have to be recompiled for the new version).

Have done for instance this with it: https://www.patchwork3d.de/cameleon-86-en

It is a nice program for 3d painting and creating models to use retopology afterwards.

thanks and nice shot

I used to work at a children's zoo and we had female Jackson's Chameleons - I used to hand feed them with live prey so I'm familiar with this type of view. :-)

I still have a license for 3D Coat 3 so I'll see if that works first, otherwise I may upgrade to 3D Coat 4 and try another technique.
