Heard about this on the latest Film Riot.

 

Apparently, if you go to: http://www.videoblocks.com/filmriot you can get an 83% discount on a 1-year subscription. It normally costs a giant $948 a year, but this gets it to you for something like $160-something bucks. Also, they have a seven-day free trial.

 

Of interest to A:M folk would be the audio stuff (who doesn't need music and sound effects) and the special effects. They have fire, smoke, explosions with alpha channels. They've also got a bunch of AE templates that look like they'd be great for animated logos or titles.

 

All the stuff is royalty free.

 

I'm seriously thinking that once I know I'm going into production, I'm gonna' do the 7-day trial and see if I can find everything I need for the whole movie during those 7 days. :-)
