R Reynolds
I'm toying with the idea of signing up for a free account at cgtextures.com. But I'm loath to add my name to someone's else database when no money changes hands because in that case free usually means shovel fulls of targeted ads. If any one else has such an account with this site would you please give me your impressions? Thanks.

Jep, have one of those too. And another tipp: If you've got a website, dont use the very common mailadresses like "info @ xyz.com". They get spam-mails without any registrations etc just because they are there. See you *Fuchur*

Use SpamGourmet. They can be found here. Its a free service and once you've set up your account you can just make up email addresses on the spot whenever you are asked for one. Online or in the real world. I've used them for years.
