Losing Skeletal option in Choreography

I keep losing the skeletal mode option in the choreography window. if i delete the model and drop another one back in it works for a few changes then disappears again <_ any clues as to what i may try have attached the model.>new_guy5.mdl

In the image below the highlighted Bones folder, you have a reference to the model bone (deleted in this image). Just delete that and it should work.
