lomvuho
The Sizes of Defaults Cornell Box 55x55x55 cm. If I enlarge sizes to 200x200x200 cm (and more), then in what progression should I increase quantity and parameters of light sources? Is there any definite pattern in such calculations? Is there any formula for such calculation? May be it’ll be optimal to reduce pro rata models themselves, which are settled in Cornell Box, rather than enlarge Cornell Box? And one more question. What function does the detail "luminaire" execute in Cornell-Demo-Defaults project? Thanks to everybody. Excuse me my imperfect English. ypoissant
Start there: http://www.ypoart.com/tutorials/photon/index.php You will find the Cornell Box tutorial and to answer your questions regarding other room size, look at "Calculating the Sample Area" and "Visually Finding Optimal Photon Properties" pages.
