i am doing a small batman animation... sort of a tribute to the joker and i was tinking. what should i do. i am looking for that orthentic tv/comic book style

so should render the movie in toon or put just flat collors on my charicters.

I'd wait until you get your characters modeled and then render them both ways to see which you like best.

for me the struggle is with fully shaded characters and tri-tone toon shading.

 

fully shaded usually wins.
