wingalls
I've been searching through the old posts (for answers to questions that I'll be posting as soon as I know the answer is not already here), and I keep running into links that have expired. Several of these 1+ year-old-posts have links to johnl3d's website at http://johnl.inform.net . Unfortunately, the site is gone. Have you moved to another home, johnl3d? Or are those valuable documents lost forever? - Wes
johnl3d
The person who was supplying the free website space disappeared earlier this year and I have not got around rebuilding the site. I have all the projects so let me know what link is missing and i 'll try to post the data there. You can email by clicking on the avatar and then the emai choice or post here. wingalls
Thanks J.L. (can I call you J.L.?), but there were just so many of them. I was reading through all of the posts that resulted from a "blobbies" search, and your posts were in almost all of them. It's obvious that you've done extensive experimentation with the particles system, and I was hoping to avoid having to rediscover old territory. I see from you profile that you have roadrunner,("wi" ... wisconsin?), too. Instead of going to all the hassle of rebuilding a site you could just ftp them all up under a new folder and publish the link here. Anywho, thanks for the offer and if my suggestion doesn't tickle your fancy, I'll try to narrow down the field a bit and ask you for a few of the most relevant projects. - Wes
