Karl Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 I have a need for an exterior model of a house. Curtains could block off most of the view inside from the exterior and I'll need a front or back door that opens for a character to walk thru, but the lighting and camera view will be such that the interior view is blocked off (additionally a simple interior wall could help). Other interior details would not be needed. Also the story needs a driveway and garage - attached or unattached - it's up to you. Besides all of this I'll need one window to be partially opened and a curtain draped so as to partially obscur the view, so the camera can zoom in (Peeping Tom style) to the interior room - WHICH I'LL PROVIDE. Lastly the model will need to be delivered with a dark nighttime choreography where the house is lit here and there with a few interior lights that partially show thru the windows/drapes and the one functional doorway. Please send me the following: 1. Price quote, terms, & approximate time required 2. A web reference to your previous work 3. A short description of the model and a pic or two showing kinda/sorta what it would look like. I'll send a simple and short letter contract for us to work under if what I hear from you sounds good to me. Thanks for your consideration, Karl Miller karl@karltmiller.com Xovum Productions Quote
apprentice Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 I have 3 house models at 3dfrogstore.com. http://3dfrog.com/store/index.php?main_pag...e726b882d63bdcb If they work for your need, they are only $35 each. They are tileable too, so you can make a whole neighborhood. I made them in 10.5 I'm pretty sure though that later versions should be able to open them just fine. No rigs but the doors and windows are separate mesh. Quote
John Bigboote Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 Karl- I'm IN! Will write you... Apprentce- Those are 3 great houses...awesome that you have that ready to go! That ROX! One thing though...(there's ALWAYS one thing...No?) The first house...the 'dormer' extends over the roofline... they don't do that... easy fix, right? Keep adding to that library! Quote
apprentice Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 Thanks John. One thing? What do you mean? What's the matter with you! Just kidding . Really? I was using a house model book from the library. I'm pretty sure it looked like that in the picture. Well, actually it only had the front and top layout of the house so... Quote
