the black smoke

for those of you how have not read the book there was a poisonous gass called "black smoke" so i'm trying recreate how it was described in the book heres my first attempt

i didn't quite get it the way i wanted its suppose to stay low to the ground and it moves fast so people cant outrun it it is also suppose to come out of a missile from a cannon on the tripod and then come out of the missile but i cant quite seem to get the effect i want

The zip file you attached contains the project file but not the tga's associated with it.

I don't have the whitesmoke.tga and smoke.tga so I was unable to view it as intened.
