Emitter Shapes

What shapes work best, to get the type of emitting you need.

I've tried many shapes, each get a different emitting.

egg, flat bull's eye, ball, cone, cube, etc. also is there a way to controll

which part of the emitter shape does the emitting?

The fastest solution would be to say what are you trying to simulate. Each shape has it's pros and cons depending on that.
