eric011 Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 Hi, I just received animation master, and the program will not run unless the install disc is in the drive. Is this how it is suppose to operate. Also when I do get it to boot from the disc, what I am seeing on the screen and according to the manual what I am suppose to be seeing are different. In the manual it looks like a camera view with a grid. I am just getting a gray background. Any help would be appreciated. Sincerely, Eric Quote
Leo73 Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 Eric, Welcome to the forums. To run the program you need the disc in your drive. That is a security feature that Hash has. When you open the program it sounds like there is no project open. Just goto Projects and open whatever you want or goto File and select new and select model, chor, etc. It's a little hard to understand without a screen cap. Hope this helps Leo Quote
luckbat Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 The CD functions as an anti-piracy key, so it does need to be in the drive when A:M starts up. Once it's running, you can remove it. Quote
