I am putting together a choreography in which a character climbs up a steep wall. The trouble that I am having is when I go to move a foot higher the body and more specifically the arms do not stay in place. Is there a way of locking down the hands and the right foot while I move the left?

Thanks,

That can be complicated depending on your choreography, but here's one way: Constrain and compensate the hand bone to the wall bone. Or you can turn off the balance mode.

You can find the constraints exercise in TAoA:M book or the online Tutes.
