graphicguru
So... how, or when does a 'newbie' (or should I say apprentice) get to join a user group, or no longer be considered a 'newbie'? (newbie... I always hated that word)

luckbat
Looks like you're an 'Apprentice' to me.
graphicguru
When you can snatch the pebble from my hand, Grasshopper. Very funny! ___________________________________________________ And I must have JUST turned Apprentice as I was adding a comment or two, so....what do ya know, at 47 years of age, after years of doing fine art, I'm an apprentice, (I always hated that word). Anyway, how does one get recruited into a group? initiation? secret rituals? brown nose? or worse?
luckbat
What do you mean by a group? Like, a Texas-based A:M user group? If you're asking how you can change your own avatar title, you'll need to reach 200 posts for that.
nimblepix
Ger, If you are talking about an A:M user group that meets on a regular basis, just show up, show your work, wait. Pretty soon the newbie title will change on its own once people recognize your skills. And of course it helps when underskilled users start showing up and look to you for help.
