G_Dragon Posted July 22, 2005 Posted July 22, 2005 Hey all. Still working on the logo, just trying to figure out how to make it look more metalic. Also, any idea on how to create a bevel would be much appreciated. Quote

Scottj3d Posted July 22, 2005 Posted July 22, 2005 Heres the settings and a render of my axe using diffuse colors and properties settings only. You can play with the settings and get varying result's. Not sure what other settings you should tweak but this was what I came up with playing with the properties. If it needs to be blue you can just use the RGB and HSL you currently have and still look metallic. Quote
G_Dragon Posted July 22, 2005 Author Posted July 22, 2005 The blue is from the light, heh. Thanks everyone, I'll produce something again soon. Quote
3DArtZ Posted July 22, 2005 Posted July 22, 2005 Bevels.... unfortunately you've already built the model.... I find that bevelling is something that is best done while your assembling the model. But you can still do it, try scalling the depth of the modle a little larger than the face/front. you will have ot touch up the mesh a bit though. Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com Quote
