Hi all,

My name is Sean and i've been using AM for about 6 months now. Im mostly interested in character animation and so thats what im concentrating on. Anyeays, starting a new animation with my "turn-o-the-century" style character who looks like high society material, but likes to do silly things. In this animation he sees a pesky fly and decides to get rid of it via kung fu. Just start it the past month and i havent gotten very far what with school and all (18 credits, yuck). Anyways, let me know what you folks think. Thanks alot.

PS. Before i can post it though, what do i do if it's larger than 1 MB? Answer that and then i can post it for you. I have an angelfire account so i can just slap it on a page and send a link if that works best. Let me know. Thanks.

Here is the link to my WIP. give a minute or two to dl. If you have dial-up forget it. I need some suggestions on how to make my files smaller. This is only 20 seconds long yet its 5 mb. When i transferred it to angelfire it somehow became 17 mb. No idea how. Anyways, i know theres a way to render in outputs other than Final but when i do that i get a render of an all black screen. Some advice on that plz. Also let me know what you all think of this animation so far.

Right now its just primary animation. I havent added secondary animation or facial expressions. Just a rough sketch for timing and mass. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

Hi Sean,

I tried to view your animation but I just got a message saying it had been removed by your provider for violating rules. I asume because the file was too large.

Maybe you could try again but reduce the image size and/or use a different QT codec?

I think I know why, one of Angelfire's rules is you can't put an image or anything up just for storage, so re-upload it put it on your website and give us the website link. I've gotten away w/ doing it in the past but it looks like someone reported you.

Edit: You may also have pornography on your site, just from looking at the status bar it said something like "sexual-overtones" in the url.

Ill try to re-upload- i think i know why they think its got sexual undertones...the URL has the word scanimation in it, which stands for Sean Coleman Animation but it probably sounds like something pornographic. Ill reload it and try again.
