InfoCentral
I purchased the Quick Start and I wasn't that impressed. I wondered if this was any better. I like the videos too so I guess I'll save the money and stick with the free videos.
kuep
i bought their bundle and i think they are very well done including the quick start. I would recomend any of them to anyone.
InfoCentral
I guess I was a little too quick to say the QuickStart didn't impress me. When I went to disk two I realized that disk one wasn't finished there were still two more video tutorials to go. Now I must say that I would highly recommend the QuickStart CD's. Very good work afterall.
seven
Tips! Here - http://home.comcast.net/~jtalbotski/tutes.html - you can find Jim Talbots really good video-tutorials and in the first one - http://homepage.mac.com/talbotj/FLATTEN-TUTORIAL.zip you can find a real good face - and you can use that face for your own models - just following a Rotoscope - some photo of a face altering Jim Talbots face to suit the face you want to have... so you do not really have to model - just change Jim Talbots face model a bit! Perhaps you have to simplify it a bit for male characters because the model is a female having big lips - too big lips for most men... Here you can see the model used to make the face of Michael Jackson:
