higginsdj Posted March 21, 2005 Posted March 21, 2005 I rigged using the TSM2 setup and have encountered some problems. 1. Paste Mirror keyframes turns my model inside out (well many of the controller bones just rotate 90 deg) 2. Make keyframe causes some controller bones to rotate all on their own. Anyway I have emailed a copy of the model to Morgan. Cheers Quote
Morgan Posted March 22, 2005 Posted March 22, 2005 I've sent a more specific reply to David, but for anyone who might encounter similar problems and find this post: When animating with TSM, you shouldn't force keys in all filtered channels, especially not with a "key all." You end up keying all those hidden bones that are constrained to various other bones, and therefore shouldn't have their position/rotation keyed. Unfortunately, once you've done it, there's no easy way to get rid of all those problem channels -- if you're determined to salvage your action, you'll have to delete them by hand. Since this issue is likely to become obvious early in the animation process, you're probably better off starting over. When you do, you should shift-click the key button, and choose "Only in filtered channels that pre-exist." This will ensure that you only key the bones and channels that you're actually animating with. -Morgan Quote
