  1. I highly doubt it's you. I'm quite new to the 3d world, I've plated around in max a few times but it just wasn't a very nice environment to work in, for me anyway. I'm a 2D animator and game designer (By Hobby), and I've been using Moho AKA Anime Studio for years now but there comes a time where having character rotating and moving in diffrent directions is a real pain in 2D. I just figured that if I build a Character once in 3D that's all I have to do. Picture this. Draw 25x the same character in diffrent views to get him to do a kick, or build him once and make him learn complete martial arts. Personally I find 3D easier in a way, maybe not the character creation part of it, but overall reusable characters that you can use for anything is a definate. And of course with the toon filter on apparently I can make it look 2D so there we go. Right now I'm on a loaner version of A:M to test out and learn some things to show the school I want to get it for. Any Idea when 2008 will come out? I don't really want to get 2007 if I have to pay another $100 if 2008 is just around the corner...
  2. Wow, That was a bit confusing to read, but it worked out. Thank you.
  3. I am making a face and made part of the right side of the face and wanted to copy flip and paste it to see what it looked like and I'm not sure why but when I do it makes a copy of partial face in front of it and attaches the tips of the nose... I checked my views and yes I'm in frontal view when modeling the front of the face so I don't know what's happening. I'm very new to AM so if you answer my question, please be as detailed as possible. original face my problem... Thank you guys.
  4. Seriously $100 is amazing and a GREAT marketing scheme esspecially for those people that love this program (I being one of them and I don't even have it yet, I'm watching the demo videos). It makes Hash Inc some more money and it doesn't break the accounts of the users. A great deal and fantastic work Hash Inc. Has it always been like that? (I can't wait to get this proggie...)
  5. Thank you all for your help, I have contacted them. I appreciate all your help.
  6. Sounds good guys, how should I go about talking to them directly? Not sure where their contact info is... Maybe I'm not looking hard enough? hehe Thanx alot.
  7. I was asked by one of the council members at a local public school (Maryvale Public School). To come in and show some animation work done in a program that was easy to learn and use for kids starting off in the animation field. I was just wondering what coupon codes where available to me to purchase AM since the primary use wasn't for me but for students at this public school. I believe AM to be the best and easiest for me to show them since I'm comfortable using splines in other applications and I could adapt to AM quite easily. I will be using AM for myself as well, but the primary reason why be to show the kids what it's all about (It may even lead to me getting some teachers to buy it for the computer lab.) I also wanted to know if there was any diffrence in using a coupon code vs not. I don't want to use a coupon code just to find out because I did I get a trimmed down version of the program. Thanx alot guys.
