  1. Oh no, another Sorry Vista AM-er. Just kidding, when did you get into A:M? I've been using it since like 98. What kinda stuff are you into, 3d wise, animating? modeling, or just getting started? I just got started using AM a couple of months ago for work. I am a proposal coordinator (oooh!) and one of my bosses does a lot of commercial proposals and we have a new product we are working on that requires animation. I got hooked!!! I am also learning Maya. I really enjoy animating but at this point I like trying everything to see where I fit. What do you do? Do you use AM on your job?
  2. I am having trouble with aligning the splines lathe onto the giraffe's face. In particular once I rotate the lathe shape and place it on the giraffe's head I am having trouble selecting several control points at once. It seems like the rotation throws off the grouping of control points. Also the lathe shape is either too big or too small (or so it seems to me) for the size of the giraffe's head. This may all sound simple but for some reason it alludes me. Thanks Robbin
  3. I am a newbie but I have been doing pretty good with the tutorials. I have been trying them first out of the book and then watching them online to pick up some extra tips, etc. However I can't seem to find an online version of Exercise 11, Giraffe. Does anyone know where I can find one? I am having some trouble following the book and could really use a visual tutorial. Thanks, Robbin
  4. I am a newbie but I am in Sierra Vista and would like to get together and learn/contribute to a group. Let me know.
