  1. This doesn't help you right now, but when you get back home, take a Sharpie and write the serial number on your AM disk. I can't count the number of times that simple act saved my bacon in the past. Got it!
  2. OK. That's right. It is stamped inside my user manual. I'm working in Florida right now and my user manual is in Cape May. I guess I'll have to wait until I get back home. Good to hear from you again Rodney. John
  3. I've experienced a system crash, and AM needs my serial number to re-activate, which I can't seem to find. Help. John Bailey
  4. Ooops! Is it possible to move my stuff over there? Or, should I just leave it and start a new thread?
  5. I gave up on the math and did it on a calculator. Entered scaling manually. Comments? [attachmentid=20725] JohnnyB Bouncing_In_Place.mov
  6. Ran into a problem right away trying to bounce the ball. When I right click in the transform Y scale box, as discussed in the tutorial, X and Z disappear so I can't copy it into the formula. If I type 1/Z I get a syntax error.
  7. Chat room bell was on All fixed now. I've stopped getting the script error, so not to worry. Thanks for the quick responses. Johnnyb
  8. When I open A:M, I get a message that says, "Error running scripts on this page. Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?" Then, while I'm working, I keep getting an annoying ding-a-ling chime. Over and over. What's happening here Johnnyb
  9. Is it off in the Render to File panel? Are you using the default "Animation" codec? Don't. What are you watching them in? I was watching them inside A:M right after the rendering. I just checked the finished product with Quicktime and the sky is blue
  10. How do you make a dome?
  11. You mean in A:M or in Quicktime? A:M trying to render a mov rendering so I can post it. When I watch the rendering time, while Yeti is stomping along, the sky is blue. When it finishes, the finished piece has black sky! It's wierd. But I've noticed several posts with the same problem.
  12. No. The Alpha option is OFF on the camera. Another wierd thing is that when I watch the rendering process, the sky is blue all the way through while Yeti is stomping along, then the finished piece has a black sky.
  13. I tried that (at your suggestion), and it didn't work. I still have a black sky. Should I do something with the Light Buffers or Camera's Post Effects? Should they be on or off?
  14. Rodney When I render in Quicktime, I get a black background. It renders sky color in AVI or JPG. What's up with that? Can that be fixed? Or, what am I doing wrong? Johnnyb
  15. Check this out. I couldn't make the ease changes work for me. Pulling the leg down with the foot bone stopped the leg from kicking at all. So, I started messing around with the knees and finally got both legs starting and stopping together. Whew! http://media.putfile.com/Exercise-2
