  1. Here is first sequence rendered (avi xvid- I/ve tried with quicktime, but files were jyst getting way too big- sorry mac users)

This is my second pass through the sequence, so there are some timings to be adjusted, byt I think that I maneged to get the feeling of desperation and dissapointment through...

Crits and comments are very wellcome!!!

  2. Six or seven users?!?

Hey I expect to be many many more... I do need this wizard!

No mater what the outcome would be, thank you for your idea and for the time that you'll invest (or plan to invest) in this thing...

If Brian rince would donate his materials to this project... I shudder to think what lovely renders will start comming...

  3. Thank you for the lovely model!

Making him with this kind of decaling makes it necessary for the user to make its own decals which makes every instance of the model different and that is something I relly like...

I also like that you used Jeff Lew's rig - I think that it really makes animation a bit more tedious but gives much greater control...

Face poses, smartskinning everything is just perfect!!! if you only included sneer upper lip pose... heck... I'll have to make it myself...

    Thank you!!!

  4. Rodney, seven, KenH - thank you for the tutorials. Most of things I already knew, byt some repetition never hurts...

I just want to say that I really, really appreciate your generous efforts for the community... Having said that, you shold also know that thank yous are rare all over the world this days... just kiding, but you have one more thank you from me!

I think that this tuts will be from incredible value for the begginers... in time, perhaps, you should think about collecting them to one place in some organized form...

  5. Here is little something I found out looking through my hard drive.

For obvious reasons his name is Mikke Musse ;)

This is 30's version of the character that I really like, except for the eyes whish have lids...

This character was made as modeling and constraining exercise, He has old rig inside him, and dos not have phonemes or other muscle poses, you will have to pull the constraints slider to constrain him...

I Hope that you'll like Mike

I would be very glad to see if anyone comes out with something funny and cute with him, and if someone decides to pop in TSM 2 rig inside, I wouldn't mind to have it for playing.

    Here it is (MDL)

  6. Not to get too technical here, but shouldn't the top row of teeth be upside down? I know the blood would rush to their heads, but it would make more sense. I guess it would depend on where you need to go with the animatiuon/story, but the upper row could complain about being upside down, etc.

Yeah, that would save me a whole lot of work, but I'm afrait it would interfere with the clarity of the message and move attention of the viewer other way...

Here are those same guys set into more realistic gums

  7. Serg2 - Your animation is nothing short of amazing! You've modeled and animated two models that are really tough to animate (no hands, essentially no bodies - really tough to get some acting from them) but you did it really great. BRAVO!

    I also loved the textures!

  8. Here are two rows of teeth; as someone may already have guessed this is ad about importancy of the ortodontic control...

Question: when using fog with multipass render, distant teeth (objects ;))get quite blurry - is this the intended feature or some glitch?

Also: when making group and then moving group of objects in choreography, undo doesn't work?!? I guess this is not intended behaviour... Maybe constraining to null is better solution, but grouping done right would be nice...

    Waiting for comments...

Cant' wait to start animating those little fellows...

  9. Short animation to test the rigging. I know, I know, there are some mistakes in timing, but I've had to try the characters with motion blur and dynamics applied. (and some fog in the background)

    Waiting for comments

P.S. anim is avi with xvid compression (no mov, sorry)

  10. Thank you for the wireframe... incidentally, I thought that I no thank you note was necessary, but ... no update for such a long time ?!? ;)

I'm just joking... keep on the good work and thanks again...

  11. Here is an example of a great mastery that has nothing to fear and looks down to us mortals dropping some crumbs hoping that some of them might grow a bit bigger and better in what they do...

I guess envy is a sin, but I am envious!

Nothing short of amazing, and in the moment when I think that this guy could not get any better, he decides to share his knowlege and even scene with others... sniff... sniff... I am getting a bit emotional here...

GREAT WORK, can't wait to see that little animation...

  12. Amazing textures. Good model.

Contradicting popular opinion I really liked pointed teeth (not that I would like to meet this Odin in the street though)

Anyway, (allthough I am not an expert) I've always had the feeling that even the "Good" nordic gods are not that good in the christian sense of the word, so this look is probably very very appropriate.

I would love to see your Thor (and Loki :D)

Some wireframes would be really nice ;)

GREAT, can't wait to see the animation!

  13. Great model, Allthough I woud make his feet bigger (It's just me, so don't pay attention)

I think that those moustaches would look great with some dinamics applied.

I would also like to see some wireframes. Maybe print screen key would do the trick, providing that you remove timeline... etc from the AM window

Thumbs up! Great work, can't wait to see it animated!

  14. GREAT MODELS!!!

Cow has amazing dose od "personality" in it although it obviosly suffers bad case of the "mad cow" disease.

I must say that I find that your texturing looks great, If you consider this weak, what is good!

By the way, could you drop in few words how it was done, I would really really like to know ;)

    Keep on great work!!!

  15. Dear Jim, I've always felt that you are THE BEST (i've had to use capitals) MODELER in whole AM community ever!!!

I've spent several hours just admiring your models and how the splines flow. Poetry in modeling if I could say that.

Hope that this does not make you too proud (You know, pride is sin ;)

    GREAT!!!
