I have used Nero to write collections of download animations to VCD so that I can watch them on TV.
You could do this on DVD with the right software.
-
I've noticed that also.
It seems random and doesn't relate to how many users are on the forum.
I usualy bail out and try later.

Nice work Colin!
You're a star.
Thanks.

Thanks PlJack!
I was having trouble reading through it myself.
Now it,s printed out ready to read in the comfort of my armchair.
Thanks again.

<PF>Mark I was meaning to ask if you did your keekat lipsync in the action window, as in the book, or did you do it directly in choriography?
If you can do that I don't see the point in using the action window for dialogue.
How often would keekat say "I've got a secret......." in an animation?
If anyone knows why AOM tutorial does it in action window please post.
Thanks.

where do you set glow intensity? i've been wondering about that
It should be in choreography properties.

Nice work!
When you've finished why not post it at hash.com, I'm sure more users will download the model from there.
Look forward to the end result.
Cheers.

I've not used this myself but did you know that you can set glow intensity up to a max of 1000%?
Hope this helps.

Good luck Jess!

Best of luck with pitching your project Mike.
Keep us posted as to progress.
Thanks for clarifying my animatic question.

I've just got over the 1 meg limit by uploading as a zip file.
It's the first time I've tried so I can't say how much you will get away with but mine compressed to less than half of it's original size.
Hope this helps.

How about a motorized grapple hook that drags them up those steps heh...they'd need some sort of bumper on the front haha.
Yeh, 4 x 4 offroad Daleks!

Looking forward to this one Jeff I'm a big Dalek fan!
There will be Daleks with the new Dr. Who.Great news! I checked the links, wonder how they're going to give a Dalek legs without ruining the design?
IIRC--and I probably don't--weren't the headlamps more obviously transparent, like the kind of glass used for car tailights? My guess is that they did use tail lights.
Keep posting Jeff!
PS Interestingly enough the spell check recognizes the word Dalek!
Maybe they do exist....

Great news!
Well done to all concerned.
-
Tough break.
If you decide to do a mark two I'll bet they'll look even better.

Great work from everyone.
It was really tough to pick out just four.

I also think the boots would be better as one colour.
My opinion is to do them the same colour as the gloves, make both either black or green.
Keep posting. This is an interesting thread.

Great work shaun!
Very atmospheric.
Hope you find time to work on it soon.
-
Great work Delaney!
Can't wait for the end result.
BTW the knee seems to be lower than in the concept art, still works though.
Keep posting your progress!

Nice work Daniel!
Cool logo, the music suits the intro well.
-
Very nice job there Mike!
Better than a lot of stuff on TV.
Are you pitching this for TV, or maybe video/DVD? How long will the finished version be?
BTW is the story board on the animal song video what is referred to as an animatic? I ask this because I've often come across the term but never fully grasped what it is.
Wishing you all the best with your project.
Keep us posted.

Well I've played around with Zone Alarm and found what (sometimes) works.
This info may be of use to others.
I allow all ads and cookies. This lets me see the animated gifs on my first visit to a page. If I return to the same page I can't see the animation. I can quit IE and restart to see the animation once more.
Weird Eh!
Hey! Some of these smilies are moving (sometimes). Didn't know they did that.
