Hey Rob,
Any updates on updating the credits?

Wow, that is so cool! I saw that I'm in for animation, but how do I get added for the voicework I did for Hippogyraf?
hmmm... not sure how that got missed. Looks like Ozma got dropped too.
I'll try to add those as corrections.
Thanks Rob!

Btw, how are things coming along on Scarecrow of Oz? I'm looking to get more into doing voice work, so having all that on imdb would really be helpful.
Thanks Robert!

Awesome Nancy. I just saw the hippogyraf scene from TWO on the Hash home page- you did an excellent job animating him (it?) to my voice track. Can't wait to see how Bumpy man comes along.
Also, if you need something rerecorded, let me know!

Ahh, that could be the issue. So have all the models been updated so they only work in 14? When I was working on some animation for Tinman, it seemed to work well in 13.

I've been working on scene 3_05_48 (Ozma is sad), and was getting used to her controls when I had time (been busy). So I recently (about 4 days ago) did an update to AM 13t, and also did the SVN download. Problem is all her controls don't seem to work for her face except her eyes (blinking).
Anyone else having Ozma problems?

It looks really good! I just noticed that the lightsaber seems to turn purple when it comes across the screen, might just be my eyes but you might want to slow it down and take a look
Great job.
Ben
That frame turns into a negative...
Otherwise very cool. Nice model of Yoda.

Still need more voices for this?

I kinda pictured him being more clumsy, not so light on his feet.
Thanks Greg for the comments. Not sure we have someone to remix the song with a new voice. I do love your lispy voice.

HippoGyraff does Ray Charles doing Joe Cocker imitating Stevie Wonder

902 frames out of 1338 animated (67.4%) - 5 out of 7 chors - 436 frames to go
Wow. You know, I don't know if he's able to stand on two feet or not. I kinda pictured him being more clumsy, not so light on his feet.
Nice work though Nancy.
Edit: Actually, this could work....

Shouldn't HG have a lisp when he's singing as he does when he talks?
Sure - You gonna sing it?
EDIT: in reality - it is a technique to cure people of lisping by having them sing - it's not understood why it works, but people lose their lisp when then sing. So maybe he shouldn't lisp. You're off the hook.
Double EDIT: Brain fart - it's stuttering that's helped by singing...OK ...You're back on the hook
I don't mind singing it if a: Martin wants me to and b: I'm not stepping on the toes of the person who sings it now (who I think did a great job).
Speaking of songs, wouldn't it be kind of fun to do some "modern" type of music for the characters as well, i.e. pop, rock or rap? Being that Hippogyraf is been called HippoG now a number of times, I think having him do a rap song could be quite funny.

HA!!!!!!
That's great! You did a pretty good job bringing HG's voice alive. I'm so happy!!!
And yes, that's me

Btw I let Hal Hickel from ILM know about the excellent job you're doing. He's been working on the film as a lead.
Keep up the good work.
Alright Greg, no fair teasing! The whole purpose of me doing an update was because of this little post. Are you serious? (I hope this isn't a really cruel joke) If it isn't, I need LOTS of details, please? That made my day/week/first 20 years.
Nope. Not kidding. I think shellhead looks great, and thought Hal would like to take a look.

Make sure it's in a format we can all use...not some DRM, Windows only format like Rostami uses. I was going to pay for one of his magic tricks but can't view it without access to a windows machine.
How soon do you think you'll have something ready?

Yeah, Siggraph was kind of a shock after attending Comic Con in the same place the previous week..i.e. small and orderly.
The Hash booth was shrunk due to probably that, and now they have the Hash Bash which has kind of taken over the duties of the Hash film night and the big booth with the demos and training. The only crowds were around the big studio booths, like Pixar, Lucas/ILM, and Disney. Dreamworks booth was smaller as well as Tippet and Blue Sky..not a lot going on there.
And there was plenty of parking too.
I would've taken some pics, but every time I went by there were only a few people checking it out.
I did see Frank Silas, Hal Hickel (from ILM), and Greg Rostami- who magically appeared at a booth by the Hash booth, then disappeared as quickly. Weird.

Had a good time at the show, but MAN was it crowd-ed...
Highlight of the show: Standing in line at Starbucks at the Marriott next to (and having a nice conversation with) the voice of Spongebob Squarepants, and not realizing it until that night...doh!
Sorry I missed Tom, Frank and Patrick..good guys and good friends.

Hey Hashers!
Its time for everyones favorite trade show, San Diego Comic Con. Folks have expressed an interest in getting together for a users night, which we wouldn't mind doing at all. Hash is booth number 1023, so those who would like to join us for an evening of chatting related to Animation Master and TWO just swing by the booth and we can make some plans. To be honest the earlier the better as this show is a monster and a physical drain to the demonstrators. Thursday would be ideal, if not, Friday is okay.
We will be seeing you in San Diego!
The Hashes
I'll be there Thursday and Saturday...Thursday would be best though. Not too busy or crowded as Saturday.

Don't know if anyone gets the Garage Games newsletter, but they are going to be shipping the Torque Development kit for the Wii...cheap too.
Imagine the possibilities!

\Anyone who signed up for passes MUST come by and shake hands with us.
See you in San Diego!
Are you kidding? Man you guys are demanding.
-
Cool. Is Hash going to have a little film festival as usual...James?

Got mine (and the exhibits plus deal too!).
Anyone else plan on going?
"The Tin Woodman of Oz" will get a theatrical premiere!
