I experienced my browser freezing as well. I would try uninstalling 17c and see what happens.
Do you use the SSE4-version?
See you
*Fuchur*
Yes.

Hey Robert. I noticed an extreme slow down in A:M and windows when I installed 17c. When I reinstalled 17b, everything seemed to be back to normal.
How long were you testing 17c?
-
It use to be that when you bought the CD version, you would get a web subscription as well. I'm not sure if they are still doing that though.
-
Thanks Mack for doing this.

Hey Steve, do you have "progressive render lock" ON?

Happy Birthday, Steffen!

Extented Material
Only usable if "Use extended material" is ON in the projectsettings. The difference between the normal material system and the extended material system (and using the extended materialsystem) is explained here.
To select a material , double click on the right side from this propertie . Now a dialog is opened , where you can select the material .
From Steffen's website.

Everything is working great in IE, FF and chrome. Though, on the ipad there is about a 1/4" strip down the right side, where I can still see the scrolling images, but it's much better than it was.
Great job Rodney, keep it up. It will be a great addition to the forum.

Go to the FTP site, you can DL there.

Sorry to further complicate things, but the ipad scales the whole webpage down so you can see the images off screen. (safari and chrome)
So, just go back to how you had it, since I'm the only one with these issues.

When I was a boy my Commodore-64 screen was 320x200... and I liked it!
Does a graphic like that have a "repeat" factor?
Well I'm spoiled, I like my 1600x900.

That's it Robert. My screen resolution is 1600x900, so I see that at 100 zoom in my browser. I could lower the resolution or up the zoom to fix it, but I think I'm going to just live with it.
-
I thought that too, so I updated it and still not correct.
I thinking it's a resolution issue. I have a wide screen laptop, if I scale the width of the browser down, it displays correctly.
If I zoom my browser/web page to 117%, it looks correct.

I'm not sure what happened here, I never seen this problem before and I have no answer as to why it happened.
I was able to fix it by manually copying the toe geom bone positions and pasting into the toe controller positions.
If you are still having problems, let me know.

Ok, heres the deal, you can't animate the hair color in the emitter because you can change the color along the length. Anything that can be change along the length can not be animated. Also, you can't animate the color using decals that control color.
If you need the emitter to be a different color than the hair, you can use a decal/patch image on the emitter and use the group color to control the hair color. Make sure the hair color is not set in the hair material as Robert said.

i got power back yesterday.
my town got wrecked by the storm. but we fair a lot better than other towns around us.
i live in Jackson. my studio that i had for photography is out in the ocean now.
it was right off the route 35 bridge going into seaside heights.
lucky for us we moved our equipment out of there a 2 days prior to the storm.
so i need to find a new studio.
Im just feel blessed to have power, better yet a home compared to some friends who lost their houses.
we are getting a lot of help but need a lot more in some of the more harder hit areas.
I'm in east Windsor NJ, still no power. We just had a lot of wind damage, a lot of power lines down.
That image is the mantoloking bridge, I'm in construction (flooring) and was working on a job about 2 blocks from there. Most of the jobs I've been working on, are in that area. I may be out of work for awhile. It's going to be awhile before we can get back in there.
The damage there is unreal!

Looks great Willi!

Works now Rodney, thanks.

I'm having the same issue (can't set A:M version). It will not allow you to update, unless you complete the entire form.
The error returned was:You must complete the form fully before proceeding. Please go back and check the data you entered.

There is a way to get into a normal looking windows view. I just don't remember how (I don't have win8 yet). I saw it on YT.
