Hi Soot,
nice to meet you :).
Have fun and if you have any questions or something to share, let us know ;).Best regards

The second question is something VERY different and pretty complex to talk about.
There are a lot of different techniques in there for instance many different kinds of constraints, expressions, poses, etc. I am pretty sure that can not easily be packed into one live session but needs to be covered in several. You might want to open another thread for that if you really want to go indepth on that one...Best regards

A hint in the right direction but I am sure Robert will talk about it in the Live-Session:
Gradient-Material (Transparent to Color) with a animated transform setting of the gradient.- 1

Just have a look into my signature... the pipeline for Unity (using FBX) will for for UE as well as far as I know.

Since everything I could say about it would be pretty political and we usually avoid this on the forums I will just say:
Hope you guys will come to a good conclusion for everybody soon or at least the insight that kneeing on somebodys throat might not be the best way to arrest somebody.Best regards

Of cause... render to a tga or png or exr sequence. You might see blue or something in the background for preview reasons, but there should be an alpha channel in them which should help or if rendering to png just being transparent.

Looks pretty nice :). Well done setting it up.

I find the Unreal Engine pretty hard to understand, but I have used Unity3d in the past for a couple of projects. Not really for rendering but for smaller 3d game projects and Mixed Reality Tests.

You should with that kind of system ;).
I think the king till now was 1:29 and you got it cut by 15s for single core again and I am pretty sure you would kill it for a multi-core benchmark like the following one with that machine. Looks like quite a beasty one – congratulations ;).

In Germany in the state I am living in from monday on there will be a rule in place to wear a mask when going to the supermarket and driving with public transportation... so exactly the right time to have something like this in place.
Currently I am printing more or less as often as I can a new one for people around me... my family and most of my co-works and friends already have one.
I'll see what I can do about Thom on it ;). But this is FDM not DLP (my dlp printer can not print this because it is too big for that) so the possible detail levels are a little limited.Best regards

Thank you very much for the very kind words guys – it was fun and I hope it will help somebody :).
I have printed several of them now (I think about 10 pieces) and am giving them to people around who can no longer get masks because they are sold out in many cases.Maybe someone on the forum with a 3d printer like to do something like that too.
If so, have a look at the link and get the 3d data and feel free to print it or change it like you need to do.
If you share it, it would be great if you could put a link to the original website or my article.
I think they are a little bit more effective than a normal, self-made fabric mask (not better than the official operation masks of cause, but better then a self made one).
Of cause I can not gurantee that and this is just a assumption from me without any hard evidence... I just think that because the coffee filter used is filtering smaller particles then a normal fabric would. The moment you can get a fabric for the printed mask dedicated to filter small particles I am pretty sure it is better. The best thing would be to wear both of cause. (this one to protect the fabric one and make it easier to clean, because the hard one is easier to rub with sope and reuse it faster)
Best regards, hope you are all staying healthy and hope you and your family is going through this difficult times without a problem.

In general you should be able to do that still.
1.) Go to your System control panel (the old one is the easiest)
2.) Go to "Sound".
3.) Go to "Record".
4.) Have a look if you can see something like "Stereomix" which typically is deactivated by default.
5.) on it and click on Activate.
6.) Restart your recording software and you should be able to select it again, if you can do that in that software. (Audacity for instance is able to be used that way if you need something to test it with.Does that help already?
Best regards

Hi everybody..
since we are in the situation we are in I wanted to share with you a project of mine which I created with my 3d printer and Animation:Master.
It is about a breathing mask which is reusable and is easy to clean while being comfortable. If you want to read more about the whole story or want to print your own, have a look at my blog article about it:

The default one using OBJ and creating textures and displacementmaps, etc. works, but this one was never working fully (so pretty close) and is not compatible with the current version of A:M (would have to be recompiled for the new version).
Have done for instance this with it: https://www.patchwork3d.de/cameleon-86-en
It is a nice program for 3d painting and creating models to use retopology afterwards.

Is there a legacy option in your bios boot order?
Many UEFIs might not work with an IDE drive.Best regards
*Fuchur* -
The boot table may be different or your partions are not active, etc.
You need to use a tool that is specifically made for cloning whole drives. For instance clonezilla should be able to do what you want.
