  1. Here is the render from last night. Enjoy.
  2. Its still early, but i have company coming over tonight. So here is my progress as it stands tonight.
  3. im tired, its late, heres another update.
  4. Ask and you shall receive. Well for me i prefer to build the body as one piece. If i need a seem I have found it easier to just draw 2 splines next to each other then "k" the center of the 2. This allows me to keep both sides of the split even and matching.
  5. I am far from done. All comment, concerns, and congrats are welcome.
  6. This is a car I built a while back. I saw some render settings on the forum and decided to try them out. I was so pleased with the first test render i figured i would post it.
  7. You can also highlight your project name in the Project workspace. Then in the properties window you can set the frames per second to anything you want. Up to 1000 fps that is. This was helpful for me when i animated a burning object with smoke, fly past the camera. It seemed master emits particles per frame. So it looked clumpy. By increasing the frames to 600 per second. It looked much more fluid. Then I converted the range to 30fps in post. worked like a charm.
  8. Render times. The scene was rendered. Than all the trees at once, no set.
  9. I'm still adding more plants and cleaning up some of the surfaces. Thanks, but no I didn't use AM paint. its all decals and hair for the leaves. Thank you. That means a lot coming from you.
  10. Figured you guys might want to see this.
  11. Its a toon render, that was done AM. The only composite that was done was because the trees were rendered separate. And its a city in Israel called Tzfat. The stone is called Jerusalem stone.
  12. Just another shot I had to make for work. All comments are welcome.
  13. A full length feature film. Whats HAMR?
  14. Well not to disapoint... but it was textured today. And you guys will probably never see it. My boss chose what i consider to be the wrong images. If i get a chance ill texture it the way i wanted. For now this is where I'm at.
  15. Well it is toon render... I think it has always done that sort of thing.
  16. Well its been a while since i have had the chance to post in here... been so busy. Well here is another shot from work. This is before any surfacing has been done. This is also my first experimenting with the skylight. And always its toon.
  17. I'm the lead animator for Kashat Productions based out of Houston TX. This id for a full length feature film we have been working on for 2 years now. Got around 2 more to go... You are right about the inside of the doorway. I'm actually still waiting on the interior designer to finalize what goes inside.
  18. The leaves were done with hair. And due to problems with hair rendering lines around the square that the leaf image references, it was rendered in 3 layers and combined in PS CS2.
  19. Heres a scene that i have been working on at work. Its a toon render, so be gentle...
  20. Have you tried hitting the spacebar? It updates the window your working in. I know with hair it will calculate new changes.
  21. The leaves are actually hair. The emitters are using targa leaves that have solid black outside of the leaf so all it emits is the leaf.
