  1. Nuns, is there anything else for me to work on before i start rigging mario? ...and great job with the cieling and cabinets to the bathroom.
  2. There may be a chance that i can rig mario. i was able to open the castle model tanner posted and it appears to be the same version as the hand model tido had posted earlier. The hand model didn't work for some reason. Try posting mario again and i'll see if it works.
  3. I made some updates to luigi today and i think that he is finished. Actually finished! Give me some feedback if there is anything that needs to be changed or added. luigi.zip

  5. Listen, i know progress has been slow lately for this project. My idea is from now on we should start a new forum dedicated to this film like the kind mage was mentioning earlier in this topic. This project needs to be organized. The castle is turning out great but that's all we've been talking for the past week or more. It needs to be in a separate WIP along with everything else. If we started a new forum, we could have separate WIPs for every character, every scene, every object, etc. Progress would be so much faster. Also, if we had topics that had to do with planning, we could come of with new ideas much faster without the occasional post that turns this entire topic in another direction. Just stating my opinion.

Follow these directions: Go to http://www.mfgg.net/, click sounds, go to (Contents: voices)(Game: Mario & Luigi series) "refine selection", click on M&L voices I used those voices for luigi's lip sync: luigi_byebye.mov luigi_gowigi.mov luigi_luckyme.mov luigi_mamamia.mov
  9. A couple questions: For luigi, which poses for the mouth and eyes will we need? If you don't have any in particular, i'll just add lip sync and various eye poses. ...and is peach going to be in the film?
  10. Good news, i've been learning how to use smartskin today. It has been a big help when rigging luigi. Also, i didn't have any trouble animating the mouth and eyelids (not sure about the eyes) just need to know which poses we'll be needing. ___
  11. We could recruit some more people to join, or do we have enough people helping already? All we need to do is have someone who is good at rigging, that way we can work on other models while someone else is rigging.
  12. I think the castle should stay polygonal because its always been that way even in ssbm. Having curved towers would just not look right. To put that in one word: Polygonal
  13. I thought of an idea. Someone can model the landscape around Princess Peach's Castle. There are some good reference pictures on page 49 of this topic. I think it's a good idea because people will see the movie and realize that some of the scenes look like mario 64. Anyways, it has a good variety of terrain and seeing as though the trees have been made and the castle is being worked on, making a replica of that area shouldn't be too out of the way. Edit: I like the tree. That's what gave me the idea.
  14. I forgot to mention that I wasn't able to use the hands tido sent me to use for luigi. The AM version he was using must have been higher than mine. I'm using v13.0
  15. If the bones don't look like the way they are in the rig tutorial, then go into the project workspace and unhide the bones you want to show. After you have the bones you want to show, move them to another model, save it. Then, the next time you want to rig a character, just use the bones from the new model.
  16. In the libraries, go to models/primitives/cube. The cube should already be beveled.
  17. Here is Luigi with the eye decals. There are some spots that need to be smoothed around the mouth and eye areas. I've tried smoothing those spots, but this is all I could do. PS: Were the eye decals used for Mario the same ones used for Link? They look very similar.

  20. If I havn't posted in a while, it doesn't mean I left. Anyways, I have the current Luigi head model here. I realized that the eyes and mouth were too big, and I think that's what made it look really bad before. Also, I would be happy if someone could smooth it out and see what else they could do with it.   21. Things to work on for luigi: 1.Increase the size of the buttons 2.Make the mouth posable 3.Replace the hands 4.Make the eyes spherical 5.Make shoulders 6.Curve the legs
  22. Yes, thanks. I find it ironic that I thought I was doing bad on the shoes, but really good on the head. Here's the shoes: shoes.mdl
  23. I used this picture here: http://www.themushroomkingdom.net/images/m..._luigi_1024.jpg ...and after comparing the pictures, the luigi I made looks almost the same. You've made a lot of good points, but I don't where you're getting the idea that "it doesn't actually look like luigi."
