Morgan Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 As some of you noticed (my thanks to Ian, Fabrice Favé and Mark Strohbehn for the timely bug reports), there were a couple problems with the version of 2.02 release I put up last night. If you already installed it, my apologies. Please download and install this patch. If you're just downloading it now, the link to the full update follows. IMPORTANT: You need to close A:M before running this installer. Sounds obvious, I know, but just five minutes ago I was thinking "gee, I should mention that you need to close A:M before running the installer," and then proceeded to test the installer... without closing A:M first. So, do as I say, not as I do. TSM 2.02 available here: http://www.rafhashvideotapes.com/lib/rafha...s/TSM2W-102.zip (use your TSM2 serial number to run the installer) This should fix the jittery bug legs, some less dramatic issues with the quad legs, and the bug in Flipper where certain bones were scaled out of proportion. (Thanks to Bob Croucher for explaining that one!) Remaining known issues: Flipper creates bones instead of nulls when flipping. This is a current limitation of the SDK, but hopefully will be fixed in the next version. The tail control bones seem to "lose" their chaining once the file is saved and reloaded into A:M. For now, this can be corrected by relinking them by hand (they will stay chained after you do that), but we'll be looking into a real fix. Besides the bug fixes, we've added an improved front quad leg, which has joints that will automatically bend in the right direction for most quadrupeds. (Remember, you can always change the direction of the joints in any TSM limb by changing the direction of the roll handles) We've also updated the manual. Last but not least, everything seems to be working fine in A:M 11.1. If anyone has any trouble with it, please let me know! -Morgan (morgan AT anzovin DOT com) Quote
KenH Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 Anyone else having problems with their serial number? Quote
Morgan Posted November 11, 2004 Author Posted November 11, 2004 KenH, If you're not already, you might try copy-pasting each set of characters, rather than manually entering them -- there are a couple that can be easy to misread, depending on your font. If that doesn't work, please e-mail me with your serial number and I'll look into it ASAP. -Morgan Quote
KenH Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 Oops. Got it. I thought TSM1 serial was the same as TSM2. Quote

Sorry, but I don't understand exactly what I need to do to "relink" the tail control bones. It's not clear to me what bones have lost their chaining or what I need to do to fix it. There's the: tail control tail lag attacher tail follow tail aimer tail attach to lag tail follower I'm lost.... Quote
strohbehn Posted November 15, 2004 Posted November 15, 2004 Nevermind.... I found the "attach bone" button, and all is well now. Sorry for the "boneheaded" question. Quote
