I had a VHS concert tape laying around for a band called 'god lives underwater' which had a mantis as their logo. So I put together 2 renders involving a mantis model I had been working on for a little while. The 3d mantis was done in AM and the sequence was put together in Vegas Video 5. http://www.wideopenwest.com/~johnjzsigo/GLU/Gv2.wmv This whole render was done entirely in AM. http://www.wideopenwest.com/~johnjzsigo/GLU/Mantis.wmv I got the idea from the person who posted the clip of a animated monkey watching a video of his daughter on a modeled TV screen. So that is why I say it isn't very original.
