I can't find the help online nor do I want to install TSM1 on my new machine, but is this roll bar pointing the wrong way? From memory, I thought it pointed out. This is the side view of an unedited leg. Thanks.

Just checked both TSM 1 and 2 docs and both say it should be the roll handle is incorrect.

it should be pointed up , away from the floor.

180 degrees from the example you posted.

Don't ask me, I just work here. :P

Seriously, Raf's the rigging guru -- but I'd guess that for those particular bones, roll handle placement doesn't matter, and the documentation should be updated to reflect that. I'll ask Raf tomorrow.

I went back and checked the docs and the skeleton (both the sample ones and the default that builder makes).

I read that the manual (tsm2) inferred that the foot bones need to have the roll handles forward since they are extensions of the leg (which are the only bones explicitly mentioned) ,However, the manual also says that the bones are rotated correctly upon creation, So going by that statement then the roll handles for the foot are correct when pointing down.

It's in the TSM 1 manual where the foot bones are explicitly pictured as pointing up.

I tried twisting them and running rigger and there seems to be no immediate difference in functionality.

sorry for not being as thorough, and connecting the dots too quickly
