Found this with my metal detector in the middle of a corn field. At first I thought it was a good sized gold ring by the tone it came in and range on my detector. was about 8" down. Might have a high nickel content or maybe rhodium? Doesn't seem to have much iron since it doesn't stick to a magnet at all.

Anyone ever find anything like this? Do you get them authenticated some how? Might make a cool pendant as long as it isn't radioactive :)
