Bill_Y Posted March 23, 2004 Posted March 23, 2004 If you're using A:M 10.5 or newer there is an animate button that all you have to do is click on it to turn off animation when you make changes. This alows you to reposition the entire model to a new spot by switching into chor mode and moving your model. When you play your animation now it will start from where every you have repositioned your model to. Also remember to turn animation mode back on after you're done or you might think your animating when your not. The animate button looks like a BIG letter "A" at the top of your screen. Quote
Guest mrsl13 Posted March 23, 2004 Posted March 23, 2004 Are you saying the animation button works in an Action window, (thats where I need to reposition my model) then Ill have to give it a try..never thought of that..I use the Animation button all the time in the Chor. Thanks, Mike Quote
Bill_Y Posted March 24, 2004 Posted March 24, 2004 The animate button should work in any window that you can animate in. Quote
josema Posted March 25, 2004 Posted March 25, 2004 Thanks for the tip, Bill. I thought that "A" had something to do with fonts of using importing type or something. Now that I know, this opens a whole new world of possibilities. do you happen to know where I can read more info on the subject. Thanx Quote

Thanx Sure you can check out the official info and movies on animate mode here. There is also info on animate mode in the interface changes section of our secrets of A:M 2003 CD we offer as well.
