This isn't an AM question directly, although that may be a solution to try later (?)

Compositing the clouds into a scene on Why I've got the backdrop of the sky as a jpg file ( made in PShop ), as the base, the clouds over that, and the landscape with figures over that.

Editing and compositing in Final Cut Pro.

The problem is that the file made in PS is appearing differently in the editor in FCP. It was made to a dark gradient suitable for a stormy sky but, when trying to use it in FCP it comes out several tones lighter.

One the left is the gradient in PS and on the right in the editor and as part of the composite on the timeline.

Has anyone else encountered this asa problem and, if so, is there a solution ?

Any help much appreciated.

regards

Apologies

Just tried something, it was caused by the contrast between the dark grey of the clouds making the back ground look lighter and bluer.. beginners mistake. Sorry.
