Simon Edmondson Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 I was reading Stian's thread where he had made some 2D animation based on a drawing he had made as aChild. It is an area of personal interest. I remembered this film called "Flatworld" which was written and directed by Danial Greaves. He had won an Oscar a few years earlier with his film " Manipulation", I don't know if this achieved the same but it was very popular in the early 90's. I looked it up and had forgotten just how good it was. If you haven't seen it before, you've missed a treat, if you have its worth another look. simon PS Simon Tofield, who makes the very popular "Simon's cat" series was one of the lead animator's on Flatworld and you can see the style.
