TheSpleen Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 Decided to make the Angel of Death character an instrument to play. Brings new meaning to the term "Killer Bassline" bassturning2.mov Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted January 6, 2010 Hash Fellow Posted January 6, 2010 One suggestion on that bass... the front face should bow out a bit. this is to counter the force of the strings pushing on the bridge. That curve will also give you more interesting reflections on the face. Quote

Yes I thought of that but by the time I did I was far into the modeling. to do that the cps would need to be planned out for it. But I agree and may even redo the front. Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted January 6, 2010 Hash Fellow Posted January 6, 2010 modeling the bowed face could be easier if you just did the f-holes with a transparency map or a boolean (if the front has thickness). "f-hole" is a real term. No snickering please. Quote
Tralfaz Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 ditto snicker! Could you use a distortion box to give the front of the bass the bow? Al Quote
