Real Time Rendering Difficulties

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'm currently working on a school project about the properties of skin, but i'll go into that in another thread. Right now I'm having some difficultues wity A:M. I tried using a tearrain plug-in, but then a pop up came up saying "insufficent storage space" and my computer crashed. Now when I open A:M and click ANYTHING a pop up shows up saying "Realtime Rendering Difficulties". I don't know what Raltime Rendering is, but from speculation it can't be good. But the worst is my deadline!

I'm sitting at my desk ready to pull my hair out,

Masna

Coinsidentally, hair could be your problem. Try opening AM with the SHIFT key held down. This will open a new project instead of the one you were working on. Go into the rendering options and check if hair is set to on. Turn it off if it is.

Or you may need to press the Pagedown key a few times to reduce the realtime resolution.

I deleted the project (I didn't get that far anyway), changed the terrain grid settings to 10 X 10 and everything works like new. I did lose my project but it was little sacrafice to losing A:M.

Thnaks everyone,

Masna
