Drag Highlight Issues... Help...

I just purchased the latest and greatest version of AM 2008 AKA V15.... Running on Vista (AMD + 3 gigs of ram with a Nvidia 8800 GPU card)

I have used AM before.... but have been away from the tool for more than 2 years now..... I have a strange problem.....

When ever I try and highlight a region in the choreography window or a model window the area hightlighted is obscured with a Gray or black box?? I don't know why this is happening?? Is this something to do with my video card or setting? (Nvidia 8800) The grey/black region goes away if I minimize then maximize the application window....

HELP

Paul

I believe other users have traced this to a Vista/NVidia problem. Turn off the Aero Glass thingie in Vista. That seems to be the consensus. I don't have Vista. I'm just relating what I've read on the forum.

Thanks for the help!!

It works a lot better now.....

Useful tip for anyone else with the same problem.... You can keep Areo Running on your system for all your other applications except for Animation Master by altering the startup short cut as outlined in the attached Picture files......Essentially you want to check the "disable desktop composition" option under the compatibility tab on the AM Startup Icon....

Once you make this adjustement anytime you run AM Vista Areo takes a bit of a vacation until your done.....
