Animating a property?

Hi, I'm new to A.M. I have modeled several objects, one inside the other, how do I animate the transparency of the outer object to reveal the inner one over time? Can I animate a property?

I cant find a tutorial on this.

Yes you can animated a property

 

You could control it with a pose , action or chor adjustment

 

The pose would allow the most control

 

I might have a tut somewhere will have to look
