You say keep characters grounded is there a way of doing this I allso use poser6 and to ground objects use use commend drop to floor

Hm.... a floating KeeKat. Check position from some view other than the camera angle (like left=Keypad-4, or front=Keypad-2).

While in Choreography mode, you can select the character and move him where ever you want.
