I'm having some trouble with the right pinky for the advanced finger setup in TSM2. As soon as TSM rigs the hand, the tip of the right pinky(4 right advfinger4) is rotated 90 degrees but the control bone is pointed correctly. The left pinky appears to function correctly. Could you tell me which constraint controls 4 right advfinger 4 so I can go in and fix it? I'm pretty comfortable messing around in there.

Thank you for providing the advanced finger steups. It is proving most valuable in the set of poses I've been doing.

Is there a way to scale the root advfinger bones (for example, 4 right advfinger) along the Z axis without all the children bones scaling as well?

Thanks again for a great product.

I'd really try to avoid doing any post-setup tweaks to the rig. For that particular bone, there are three hidden bones and two constraints involved in the setup. I'd double-check your pre-rig roll handles, if I were you. If the problem isn't apparent, you can e-mail me your model, and I'll take a look to see what might be going wrong.

If you really want to poke around in the rigged model, the constraints involved would be in one of the relationships under TSM constraints. The fingers are usually all in a row, in reverse numerical order. You can also open up advfinger.txt from hxt->TSM2->scripts in your A:M folder, and see what's actually going on in the rigging process. Needless to say, don't modify that file -- I guarantee it won't improve the situation. ;)

Again, feel free to e-mail me your pre-rig model for debugging -- morgan [at] anzovin [dot] com.

As for scaling, you can always just grab the base of the bone and reposition it. If you actually use scale mode, you'll have to counter-scale.
