pixelmech Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 What is the root bone of a TSM2 rig? Is it the body? Should I be able to move the whole rig with that? Also, when I moved my model up Y above the ground, the feet IK controls stay on the ground. Now I cannot move his feet around in the air. It seems like there is no easy way to move the whole rig around at once..am I missing something? Also, wasn't there an update to TSM2? I never downloaded this, is there a page for that? Thanks Tom Quote
Morgan Posted March 22, 2005 Posted March 22, 2005 A post with info on the latest update is pinned at the top of this forum. You're not missing anything -- there isn't a "move everything" bone in the TSM rig. If you're working in a choreography, you can use the model bone... but personally, I'd animate the feet independently -- move them up Y as well. The other thing you could do is switch to FK feet as your character jumps, then back to IK as he lands. Hope that helps... and sorry for the belated response. -Morgan Quote
