nixie
Here is my latest attempt at a head, theres stil tweaking to be done but its a step in the right direction. I was hoping to use Yves skin shader, alas! Im on osx so i will have to remain patient! Once I remember how to flatten the mesh again I'll texture it. Anyone know of a good eye tutorial? Anyway critique welcome. Nixie
higginsdj
Chris, Thats looking quite reasonable. Some issues on the upper lip area - a wireframe would help the critiquing process. Cheers
nixie
Im pretty rubbish with my mac, so if anyone wishes to look at it, here's the mdl Cant figure out how to do a screen grab! OT: I was using softimage today at university, AM is far more intuitive! Regards - Nixie Elliecrit.mdl
gonzo3d
Screencaps on a mac: cmd-shift-3 Drops pict files onto your statup drive, numbering Picture1..Picture_n_. Goes to 10, I think. Good eye tute? Check out Colin Freemans tutorials. He even has an Uber eye (ie, Super-duper eye) available for download. If you use it, don't forget to send Colin a thank-you. nixie
Cheers Gonzo3d, I visited Colins site, but couldnt fint the uber eye, saw the tutorial though; I will follow it soon. If anyone has downloaded the model, do they have any suggestions? I want to get the splines 100% accurate before I move onto her body. I'm using porcelain and it seems to muck up the mesh on random occasions which is an annoyance since i'm going to aim for photorealism as much as possible. see the attached image to see what i mean (look at the ear lobe and pronounced lines throughout.) Again, thanks. Il take a screen grab of the wireframe for those not interested in downloading the model file. Kind regards - Nixie
