Haikalle Posted October 19, 2003 Posted October 19, 2003 Hello! I'm from Finland and I just love doing wire-models on animation:master. This is my first complete model. I'm also doinging mini movie but it takes couple mounths to finish it. Quote
zacktaich Posted October 19, 2003 Posted October 19, 2003 nice, my one suggestion would be to actually make the little details w/ the modeling tools instead of decals. Good Job, and good luck on your short film. Quote
lazarter Posted October 20, 2003 Posted October 20, 2003 Looks good, but maybe the arms and feet should be a little bit longer. Still very cool work. I look foward to seeing this short. Model a shield and that'd be awesome. Keep us updated! Quote
ZPiDER Posted October 20, 2003 Posted October 20, 2003 good job! maybe lighten up the blue a bit or give it and the black different specularity properties. on my monitor settings its all almost black. the face could also be a bit more defined, but thats just personal taste. zack> what do you mean? he did model all details as far as i can see. any detail smaller than the one he's modeled would be better done with decals. Haikalle Posted October 20, 2003 Author Posted October 20, 2003 Yes I know that my materials suck : ), but it's real talent to make realistic materials and I don't have that talent.........yet. Quote
zacktaich Posted October 20, 2003 Posted October 20, 2003 zpider, I was referring to his pads, the talking device, and eyepiece. Maybe they are modeled. They look like decals in these renders. Quote
Iham Wrong Posted October 20, 2003 Posted October 20, 2003 The gloved hands look a bit small for a man. Most guys have big thick hands. Compare your hand to your face. Most of the time your face will be two hands wide and one hand long. Notice how well they fit together and the thumbs will reach around to the end of the jawbone? I guess it's designed that way to protect yourself from ghost and such. Quote
