kungfudork Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 i am using tsm2 in v11.1a on WinXP. when i select the rigger, the spine isn't showing up in the list box. when i hit ok, it takes tsm2 like 5min for the "wait" window to close. then when i open the model in an action.....the leg/arm/COG/tsm contstraints poses are all there, but in the model i can still see the 4 spine bones and they just react like a chain with no constraints. there aren't any spine control bones in the rig. i also found that the body-manual control bone only affects the rig with rotation, nothing happens if i translate that bone. has anyone else had this problem, or am i missing a step? it all seems to be working except the spine. thanks, dieter Quote
kungfudork Posted December 3, 2004 Author Posted December 3, 2004 ok i did some more problem solving. i had removed spine5, assuming i could do this like in tsm1. i have gone back and added it back in, but still don't see spine listed in the rigging drop down box. i opend a new model window, ran builder, ran flipper, and then ran rigger. spine was in the drop down list....executed rigger, took only about a minute to run and the rig seems to be 100% perfect. i am stumped on my model now. i definitely don't want to go back and start with builder again. hope to hear from the anzovin crew on monday, but if anyone else out there has some info...i'm all ears! thanks, dieter Quote
anzovin Posted December 5, 2004 Posted December 5, 2004 Hey Dieter, Sounds like the bone chains and/or bone names are messed up. Also, don't assume you can remove any TSM2 basic bones; TSM2 does not work like TSM1, so old assumptions do not carry over. Send your model to Raf for analysis. raf@anzovin.com Steve Anzovin Studio Quote
