  1. Anytime Sat is good for me. I am still trying to learn some basics to build up to Mack Mack, but coming along fine. Hopefully I will have something to show Sat. I also have not worked on the dwarf dude, I guess I thought we were going to do that as a group...oops!
  2. I have the 2004 pro series training videos. Once I have clicked on the index file the video plays. There are no controls to stop, pause, play etc... I'm sure I'm doing something wierd can anyone help me find the controls. I have right clicked and went throught the quick time settings and could not find anything. HELP! Thanks to those who respond. Shannon
  3. Will be there. See you guys Sat! Shannon
  4. Hi Doug, The 26th works for me. I could also do a mid week something..I work right around the corner from ya. I just recieved my 2004 pro tutorial today. I have not watched it yet but thanks for the recomendation. I have not had much time this week to work on AM but am trying to get back on track. I'm working on the 11.5 exercise (again no video tutorial )
  5. Let's get another one going. Any one else ready to meet again?
  6. Yes...again thanks to everyone and thanks to Doug for hosting. I'm looking forward to our next meeting. Nice meeting everyone. Shannon
  7. In exercise 11 I have formed the head neck and legs but the book never explains how to make the loop at the top of the leg ( never even referred to but pictured in figure 2 and 3, pg 123) I formed the 6 point looped spline to extrude the legs and have done so. Common sense tells me to form another 6 point loop from left view now(not top view) and then attach to the leg....but not sure. Help Please! I am speaking of the loop that would make what I would call the hip at the top of the back leg and the shoulder at the top of the front leg. If I only extrude as the book says from left view I would not have the rotation to view the full circle. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  8. Noon is good for me or earlier. I have commitments at 3:00. Looking forward to it!
  9. Would love to join in with you guys! I work in Norfolk I am an artist in many mediums. I've been doing work with commercial production for a few years and one week into AM up to Exercise 11. I would love to learn from you guys, I'm sure it will be inspiring. My email is shannonmaxey@yahoo.com. Please send me any info and details for the meeting.

  11. I DO HAVE EVERYTHING HIDDEN. I DID WHAT YOU SUGGESTED AND WHEN I DID THE RENDER IT WAS APPLIED BUT WHEN I SWITCHED TO BIRDS EYE VIEW THE DECAL DID NOT MOVE WITH THE BODY...DOES THAT MATTER?? THANKS FOR YOUR HELP
  12. I HAVE EVERYTHING SET UP CORRECTLY HALF THE PLANE SELECTED EXCULDING THE WINDOW AND SIZED THE DECAL TO FIT. WHEN I RIGHT CLICK IN THE MANIPULATOR WINDOW AND SELECT APPLY NOTHING HAPPENS.... THE DECAL DOES NOT STICK. HELP PLEASE!!
  13. Perfect...Thanks!
  14. Hi Shannon here...New to AM and forum. I have been working on exercises for a week now and I am up to the Fighter Plane. When extruding the shape of the plane I noticed it seemed sharp the shape is not totally rounded between control points. My wheels are stiff (not round) I clicked on the smooth button for control points and no change. Im sure I've done something stupid but cant figure it out...Help Please.
