  2. i am back from boston and again working diligently with version 13 of am. i am ready to attach the 2001 rig to a model. is it possible to attach the rig to an unfinished model? when trying to attach the rig some of the bones don't show up. i've look in the project work space where the bones are listed and cannot find the fore arms etc. what is the trick? richie ps i'm starting to understand splines a little better.
  3. are there any common errors when working with splines? what constitutes good spline continuity verses bad spline continuity? rich
  4. selecting five points doesn't always trigger the five point tool. i have to select the five points again and again to trigger the five point tool. do i need to do something different? rich PS. using the key pad 1 through 6 to constrain the cp is great.
  5. thanks dhar...
  6. i've been trying to work with primitives from the library. what i discovered is that altering the primitive in the model screen alters the primitive in the library. how can i alter the primitive and keep the library primitive in mint condition? r
  7. i've been having a heck of a time learning how to model with splines. i would like to announce i have successfully attached a leg after numerous tries and i do mean numerous. call me crazy but i'm on to the arm. richie
  8. okay i have to admit it i was pretty frustrated with trying to position the exercise it's a pitch. instead of spinning my wheels i jumped to flower power. i am the proud creator of a goofy flower that moves. i'm going to go back to pitch and use the skeleton instead of the night. this morning i used eugene for it's a pitch after many tries with knight and i had better luck. i was anxious to do some drawing anyway.
  9. thanks rodney, i've finished move it and now i'm working on it's a pitch. r
